IAMMEDIC, based out of Los Angeles, consists of members Enik Lin, Andre Harris, Danny Park and DJ Yup. Frontman Enik Lin originally created the group just 8 months ago as a side project after the end of his previous band, Burning Tree Project. Enik found himself writing new music almost 20 hours a day when he decided to take IAMMEDIC full-time bringing in Andre and Danny, his two best friends. Enik’s mother classically trained him to play piano at the age of three, and from there he started picking up other instruments including the violin, guitar and drums. His previous band, The Burning Tree Project, toured around the US and eventually got picked up by East West/Warner. Andre started rapping at the age of 11 and joined local hip-hop groups, eventually learning the piano and playing keyboard. IAMMEDIC’s album, Perfect, was released earlier in June, and they have been busy collaborating with Aziatix, Brian Joo, JYJ, and Flo Rida, and performing around the world Southern California to Taiwan and Korea with sold out shows in LA and Seoul of up to 2,500 in attendance. They are also releasing their first single in Taiwan, featuring Nicky Lee from Aziatix. Their music video for their single, Spaceship, from their Perfect album is due out at the end of this month.
